Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Bars

Made with four map and sweetened with dates, these straight forward no bake bars are a vegan & gluten free healthy snack bar everyone loves! —Megan Olson

Substances

  • 1 1/2 cups

    dates, pitted


  • 1 1/2 cups

    unsalted peanuts


  • 1 cup

    chocolate chips


  • 1/4 teaspoon

    salt

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Location peanuts on a baking sheet and roast 8 minutes until aromatic.
  2. Within the meantime soak dates 10 minutes in heat water whereas peanuts are roasting and line an 8×8 prance baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. In a meals processor, add dates, peanuts and salt. Pulse several cases to interrupt up the map.
  4. Add 1/4 of the chocolate chips to the aggregate then process until a clumpy mixture kinds.
  5. Switch the aggregate to the pan and press the aggregate firmly into the pan filling all corners of the pan.
  6. Soften the remaining 3/4 of cup of chocolate chips in a tumbler bowl over boiling water. Pour melted chocolate over the bars and employ a baking spatula to unfold it exact into a honest layer over the bars.
