Cheesy Taco Pasta

A tasty, rapid and simple one-pot beef taco pasta with tons of melted cheese!

System:

  • 1 pound floor beef, lean or additional lean
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 2 cups water (or beef broth)
  • 2 cups salsa
  • 8 oz pasta (gluten-free for gluten-free)
  • 1 (1.5 ounce can) murky beans, rinsed and drained (elective)
  • 1 cup cheese (cheddar and/or monterey jack, mozzarella, and tons others.)

Instructions:

  1. Put together dinner the ground beef and onion in a tidy sauce pan till the meat is browned and the onions are soft, about 10 minutes, sooner than draining off any excess grease.
  2. Add the garlic and taco seasoning and prepare dinner till fragrant, about a minute.
  3. Add the water, salsa and pasta. mix, bring to a boil, lower the warmth and simmer till the pasta is cooked, about 8 minutes.
  4. Add the murky beans and cheese and coo unitl it melts, about 2 minutes.
