Hot Sugar Toddy
There are few things more comforting than Adele’s Grammy-nominated album 25… excluding for perchance a hot toddy. Warm up all over your Grammys gape occasion this Sunday with this classic, easy cocktail.This recipe is courtesy of Sugar Island Rum.
- 1 1/4 ounce rum, preferably sugar island spice rum
- 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 3 1/2 ounce hot water
- 1/2 ounce honey
- 1 piece lemon zest
- 3 cloves
- In a mixing glass, combine rum, lemon juice, and hot water.
- Slowly add the honey, stirring to combine.
- Pour the toddy into a mug.
- Pierce the lemon zest with the cloves and plug with the plug with the drag the studded lemon in the mixture.
