In a trim bowl, cream together the butter and sugar except mild and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating successfully with every addition, then rush in the vanilla. Add the flour mixture alternately with the milk; beat successfully. Absorb the muffin cups 3/4 chubby.

Bake for 15 to 17 minutes in the preheated oven, or except a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out trim. Frost alongside with your favourite frosting when cool.

To avoid losing the icing: In a standing mixer fitted with a lag, mix together sugar and butter. Mix on low velocity except successfully blended and then develop velocity to medium and beat for one other 3 minutes.

Add vanilla and a shrimp of pink colouring and cream and continue to beat on medium velocity for 1 minute more, in conjunction with more cream if vital for spreading consistency.
