These are straight forward, traditional, straight-up macaroons tailored from Tamra Davis (director/ chef/ mother/ married to a Beastie Boy). Here’s a nice recipe, they’re completely fluffy & candy without falling apart — the bottom line is de facto beating the sugar & egg whites. Again, macaroons are a nice gluten-free, dairy-free dessert probability & the substances are most seemingly continuously for your kitchen–plus they’re spacious beautiful. —we spend. elated.

Substances

  • 2

    free-vary egg whites


  • 3/4 cup

    organic sugar


  • 1 teaspoon

    pure vanilla


  • 2 1/2 cups

    unsweetened coconut

  • Pinch

    Maldon sea salt

Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 325° F and line two baking sheets with foil. In a large bowl combine egg whites, sugar & vanilla. Beat with a trip unless combined and fluffy (about 1 minute).
  2. Fold in coconut & sea salt. With wet hands invent limited (1 tablespoon-sized) mounds, and set of living 1 shuffle apart on baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 16 to 17 minutes unless golden. Cool for 3 to 5 minutes sooner than transferring onto a baking cooling rack.
