Ingredients
- Cookie dough
1/2 cup
(1 stick) butter
1 cup
light brown sugar
3 tablespoons
white sugar

lemon juice, freshly squeezed

1/2 teaspoon
salt
1/2 teaspoon
baking soda
1/2 teaspoon
baking powder
1 cup
white chocolate chips

powdered sugar
2 tablespoons
lemon juice, freshly squeezed
1 teaspoon
almond extract
Directions
- Preheat oven to 300°F. Self-discipline the butter, brown sugar and white sugar in an electrical mixer fitted with a trudge attachment. Cream them collectively for 2 minutes. Add the egg, lemon juice and zest. In a small mixing bowl, sift the flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder collectively. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture in three batches. - Drop the cookies on a parchment lined cookie sheet using a 1 ounce scoop. Flatten the dough a minute bit. Bake for 20 minutes or till the edges of the cookies are light brown. Cold fully.
- Whereas first batch of cookies is baking, prepare the glaze. Combine powdered sugar, lemon juice and almond extract and accelerate correct into a comfy glaze. Drizzle over cooled cookies and allow to space for about 20 min.
