Strawberry Jam

    Mix strawberries and sugar in a neat heavy skillet. Hasten in grated Granny Smith apple. Cook dinner over medium-low heat, stirring and breaking apart strawberries, unless sugar dissolves. Simmer unless jam is thickened, 10–quarter-hour. Hasten in lemon juice.

    Step 2

    Transfer to a bowl or jar; let frigid. Quilt and relax unless spot, about 2 hours. Again chilled; aid within 2 weeks.
