That is a wintry-weather speedily soup from my childhood. Tailored recipe of my mother and grandmother (theirs occupy some distance more milk in it-I don’t love drinking milk). The variation is I employ the identical measure of milk and water. —beril
Factors
2 cups
low elephantine milk
2 cups
water
1 cup
orzo
2 tablespoons
dried thyme
1 pinch
salt
1/2 tablespoon
butter (elective-I didn’t employ)
Directions
- Mix milk, water and orzo in a soup pot.
- Convey them to boil stirring continuously. (you do not desire to raze up with clotted milk :))
- When it starts boiling, you may perhaps well add the salt and thyme (and in expose for you to add butter it’s the fitting time). (preserve stirring!)
- After 3-5 minutes of boiling, check orzo and if it’s cooked ready to switch to your well-liked bowl!
