Bean and corn toppings turn pizza, a household popular, staunch into a healthy, excessive-fiber meal

  • 1 Tbsp. cornmeal
  • 1 lg thin crust pizza crust (akin to boboli)
  • 1 can (16 oz) burly free refried beans
  • 3/4 C thick and full salsa
  • 4 oz. diminished burly turkey kielbasa, thinly sliced, slices halved (elective)
  • 1/2 C drained canned corn kernels
  • 1/4 C sliced scallions
  • 3/4 C diminished burly shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped cilantro
    1. Step 1Preheat oven to 450ºF.
    2. Step 2Sprinkle pizza stone with cornmeal, and spot pizza crust on prime. Spread crust with refried beans, then with salsa. Top with kielbasa (if utilizing), corn, and scallions. Keep pizza stone with ready crust on oven rack.
    3. Step 3Bake 10 minutes, sprinkle with cheese, then bake 2 minutes longer, or unless cheese melts and backside is crisp. Sprinkle with cilantro, and nick into 6 wedges.
