Ingredients:

• 1/3 cup finely ground blanched almonds
• 2/3 cup unbleached all-cause flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• Pinch of salt
• 8 tbsp (1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temprature
• 3/4 cup granulated sugar
• 2 monumental eggs
• 6 x ripe apricots, halved and pitted
• 2 tbsp granulated sugar
