Ingredients:
- 1 cup diced yellow onion
- 1 lb ground grassfed beef (or ground turkey)
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 yellow bell pepper, diced
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 3 sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed (about 5 cups)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (28oz) can diced tomatoes (consist of liquid)
- 1 (28oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 cup bone broth (beef or chicken)
- 2-3 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 Tbsp of all-motive herb seasoning
- 1 bay leaf
- 3/4 tsp sea salt
- 2 slight zucchini, cubed (about 2 cups)
Instructions:
- In a mountainous skillet over medium-high heat, sauté the onion in a single tablespoon of olive oil for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Add the bottom beef (or turkey) and sprinkle with 1 tsp sea salt. Cook meat until cooked thru.
- Add the meat combination to a 6-quart dead cooker. Then add all of the relaxation substances, other than the zucchini. Plug successfully to mix.
- Quilt and cook on low for 7-8 hours. Construct obvious to add the cubed zucchini over the previous hour of cook time.
- When ready, take away bay leaf and re-season to taste with extra chili powder and salt. Top with diced avocado and sliced green onions.
