Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Soften butter in handsome skillet over medium warmth. Jog in maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and 3/4 teaspoon salt. Lift to a simmer (combination might perhaps well well aloof be frothy), about 3 minutes. Add walnuts, and toss to coat the use of a rubber spatula. Cook, stirring, till sauce is syrupy and bubbly, about 3 minutes.

Switch walnut combination to a parchment-lined baking sheet, and spread into a single layer. Bake till walnuts are caramelized, about 10 minutes. Switch sheet to a wire rack. Jog, and let stand till frigid and hardened, about 30 minutes.
