Subtle hen meatballs covered in a delightful candy and bitter barbecue sauce —Elizabeth White

Ground hen

Grill seasoning

Egg whites (or 1 entire egg)

Sugar-free raspberry preserves
1 cup
Balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon
Chipotle Tabasco sauce
Directions
- Combine the bottom hen, grill seasoning, egg white and flax seed in a bowl and mix with your hands until moral mixed. Season to style with salt and pepper.
- Drizzle the canola oil into a huge sauté pan over medium high warmth. When the oil is hot, start rolling the hen combination into dinky meatballs and position within the pan. Continue until all of the meat is used up. Brown the meatballs on every aspect, turning as soon as quickly, for approximately 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, combine the raspberry preserves, balsamic vinegar and chili powder in a dinky bowl. Season to style with salt and pepper.
- When the meatballs are browned on every aspect, add the sauce to the pan. Let simmer for approximately 5 minutes until the sauce is thickened. Serve without prolong, topped with cilantro if desired.
